The Culzean field is operated by Maersk Oil North Sea UK Limited (Maersk Oil UK) with co-venturers JX Nippon Exploration & Production (UK) Limited and BP.
The FSO Alisa will be deployed at the Culzean field approximately 145 mile (233 kilometers) off the coast of Aberdeen in a water depth of 295 feet (90 meters).
The Culzean high-pressure/ high-temperature field will be developed using three bridge-linked platforms: a wellhead platform where drilling and production takes place; a central processing platform where the produced gas and condensate are processed and exported; and utilities and living quarters, providing accommodation, living space, and services for the crew.
SAIFOR together with its Singapore partner, is responsible for the design of the consoles in the Central Control Room on board the vessel. The project requires customisation to meet the stringent requirements of a FSO project. We are proud to be selected by the integrator to participate in this exciting project. This project represents a significant milestone for SAIFOR and our partner to design such a highly customised control room.
